Posters everywhere,littering the streets;
Told us we were in for a treat,
Speaking about democracy
Made us masses go crazy
Few years into office; promises are yet to suffice.
Masses are slimming,reps are fattening;
Nigeria is drowning In suffering
Governance, the critic says is in turmoil,
The masses in an everlasting toil;
A country on the verge of demarcation
Can there ever be unification!
The stories of heroes past glorifies
But the edifice of office is a fool of spies,
Spiting the glory of their colleagues
Yet they claim the ivy leagues
Governance they say is a rule of freedom
But it’s rather a game of fiefdom
Corruption at it’s height, Nigerians are sitting tight.
